Anyone who has an ounce of integrity will look at the latest indictment of President Trump in Atlanta, Georgia and condemn it for what it is: the fourth installment in a pattern of obscene prosecutorial targeting, misconduct, and abuse of power.
Don’t we have laws against selective prosecution (which this clearly is)? Where is the fair and “equal application of the law” when it comes to President Trump and any of his supporters?
We, average Americans, citizens who love this country, stand before this rank injustice in horror, as we should. That is our emotional reaction.
But we also stand before it in faith, hope, and charity, as we also should, and pray for justice. We pray that God will not allow the Rule of Law to be degraded to such a point that we no longer have a country.
