“It is now the hour for you to wake from sleep…put on the armor of light.” ~Rom 13:11-13

The “miraculous miss” of that bullet meant for President Trump’s head on 7/13 will undoubtedly go down in American history as a watershed moment. Historians will talk about this epoch of American history as “Before / After the Assassination Attempt on Trump.”

The only thing we can do now is to thank God and, in a special way, to thank the Virgin Mary for her guiding hand on a significant anniversary of the apparitions at Fatima.

Americans now see the vitriolic, satanic, pathological hatred of Trump by the Left in a new light. Those who were not previously awake to it have all of a sudden realized that:

  • The Left (the media, Hollywood, the Dem political machine, etc.) has been defaming and lying to us about Trump incessantly for eight years;
  • Their vitriol finally built to such a breaking point that someone “went there” and actually pulled the trigger;
  • There are still 1000 unanswered questions about the events of that day which may never be sufficiently brought to light because all the people responsible for allowing this to happen are the very ones doing the investigating;
  • Our government, aided by the above institutions, has turned the entire power of the government against citizens; and
  • The two-tier system of justice is killing America as a nation.

I could add more evidence of deep malfeasance, but the point is made. If you weren’t awake to all this before the assassination attempt, you are now. If you’re not awake to it, you’re part of the problem.

But I never tire of repeating: we can never forget that this is at base a spiritual problem of epic proportions for our country that threatens the very existence of America as a nation. We need extreme vigilance and prayer to overcome it.

Someone published a Tweet that—while a bit frightening—does explain the demonic nature of it all:

If we ever wonder how much the devil hates God, we have only to look at the Left’s pathological hatred for Trump.

In the wake of our collective sigh of relief that Trump survived, we should remind ourselves that we can NEVER let our guard down spiritually against people who worship the devil’s sacraments: abortion, drag queens, transgenderism, homosexuality, euthanasia, pornography, and every kind of perversion known to man.

In an incredibly perceptive article, “The Sound of Distant Thunder Draws Near,” Charlie Johnston noted that

The modern left…can’t help but bare their teeth and show their malice with each new crisis… They have become maddened by their obsession with power and control, unameliorated by any sense of eternal accountability… While the obsession destroys them spiritually, it leaves them unable to contemplate anything but force, coercion, and treachery to achieve their aims. They are in the process of destroying themselves right now. Make no mistake: until it is complete, they are deadly dangerous…Do not underestimate their depravity (emphasis added).

I think Johnston states the case for us quite well. The fundamental problem is spiritual, and our work is to counteract the spiritual evil upon us with the force of Christian prayer and goodness.

PRAY, PRAY, PRAY!

Now is not the time to be optimistic. It is the time for extreme spiritual vigilance.
