It’s astonishing, yes, but two attempts have now been made against the life of President Trump. TWO. When in the history of our great country has this ever happened?

And those who are in charge of his protection are playing nefarious games with us and even with Congress. That has to be the most frightening aspect of it all.

The average would-be assassin nowadays cannot get close enough to a President to do anything to him like John Wilkes Booth did to Abraham Lincoln. However, nowadays, an assassin can do his dirty work if he is allowed to do it.

No one is fooled by the chicanery in Washington these days: the lies, the deflections, the obfuscation, the deceit. The cesspool of corruption runs deepest in the intelligence and security services, aided and abetted by the so-called Department of Justice.

We can trust absolutely nothing they do or say.

Law enforcement agencies and government bureaucrats have lost the respect and trust of the American people, and rightly so. They don’t deserve it. They are the darkness that is descending on America: our enemies walk among us.

This furthers my belief that only God in His Mercy can save us just like He saved President Trump from an assassin’s bullet on July 13th.

To the extent that the violence has not achieved its intended results, we are grateful! I have no doubt that our prayers helped to prevent it. But make no mistake about it: the battle is on.

When St. Joan of Arc was asked why the All-powerful God would need an army to save France, she replied with astonishing wisdom for her age: “We will fight, and God will provide the victory.”

And there’s the formula. We must “Fight! Fight! Fight!” as if everything depended on us, and we must PRAY, PRAY, PRAY as if everything depended on God. He will provide the victory of America over all our enemies!
